Dr. Edsard van Steenbergen graduated in 1990 from the University of Groningen Dental School (The Netherlands) (DDS). He completed his orthodontic training at the University of Connecticut (USA) in 1993 (MDS) and continued clinical and academic work in Connecticut the following year. In 1994 he and his family moved back to The Netherlands, where he opened his orthodontic practice and continued his collaboration with the Universities of Connecticut and Amsterdam, leading to a PhD in 2006. Dr. van Steenbergen and his family visited the Okanagan several times before deciding to make the big move in 2010. They love the active lifestyle and all this region has to offer.
